Theres something about the FC3S that constantly draws me in for a more detailed look when I see one– specifically if its customized in a way like this.
I cant put my finger on it exactly, but I believe it has something to do with checking out the renowned manga Initial D and seeing one of the heroes cars and trucks (aside from Takumi Fujiwaras AE86) being brought to life.
Or is it the truth that this FC3S is a brilliant example of how basic, yet cleanly executed upgrades can go a long method, no matter the platform.
Whatever it is, this particular vehicle inspected all the right boxes for me when I encountered it at the recent Off Time Meeeeting occasion.
What I really love about this develop is how the classic 80s styling has been kept; theres no over-fenders or a wide-body set in sight. Modifications to the outside include the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, hood, and rear spoiler, which although aftermarket all have an OEM+ sort of feel.
The 18-inch BBS LM wheels include tons of design while offering all the clearance required for an Endless front brake upgrade.
The interior too constructs on the Mazdas classic style without altering it drastically. A splash of carbon trim, extra gauges, and a pair of custom-trimmed Recaro Sportster CS seats all assist to execute the vision.
The die-cast model of Ryosukes Red Suns FC3S on the dash leads me to believe that the owner of this RX-7 is a fan of Initial D too, and perhaps obtained his style of tuning from the FC3S in Shuichi Shigenos book series.
This Mazda RX-7 goes to reveal that you dont constantly have to walk the typical path to actually stand out. I think Ryosuke would extremely approve too.
